No game plan for the 4th of July? We’ve got you covered with our handy Hudson Valley 2017 fireworks map. We’ve gathered the details of fireworks shows in the area, whether you’re looking to see a spectacle on Independence Day or before or after.

This year, most events seem to be scheduled before the 4th of July.

Details: Brewster’s Independence Day celebration will include a live band at 8PM and fireworks at 9:30 p.m. The 2017 live band will be Saving Athens. A rain date has been set for Saturday, July 8.

Details: Join the Germantown Parks and Recreation committee for a family evening of fun at Palatine Park in Germantown for its annual Independence Day celebration. The gates open at 4 p.m. and fireworks above the lake will take place at 9:30 p.m. A rain date has been set for Sunday, July 2.

Goshen*

Details: The Great American Weekend features craft vendors, antiques, exhibits, live entertainment, 5K/10K race, children’s rides, food vendors and more.

LaGrange

Details: LaGrange will hold Community Day at Freedom Park with fireworks planned at 9:30PM.

Lloyd

Details: The Town of Lloyd’s Independence Day celebration will begin at 6 p.m. at the Town Field. The event will feature live music, DJ Rick Knight, vendors, games and activities for the kids.

Maybrook

Details: The event will feature live music provided by Hot Rod and the Maybrook Troop 236 Boy Scout band. The fireworks will take place at 9PM. A rain date has been set of July 1.

Middletown

Details: The Party in the Park will be held from 4-6:45PM, with live entertainment at 7PM. Fireworks will be held at dusk.

Monroe

Details: Monroe will have its Independence Day Festival on Sunday at Crane Park with fireworks at dusk. A rain date of July 7 has been set.

Town of New Paltz

Details: The Town of New Paltz has partnered with the Tiny House Freedom Fest. All fireworks attendees will get a free preview of the Tiny House Freedom Festival. Music starts at 5PM and fireworks at 8:30PM.

City of Newburgh

Details: The fireworks display will launch from People’s Waterfront Park at 9PM

Town of Newburgh

Wappingers Falls

Details: The Dutchess County Stadium will have fireworks after the Hudson Valley Renegades vs. Aberdeen game on July 3.

Warwick

Details: The Warwick Fire Department Carnival will feature fireworks on Saturday, June 24 at 10PM with a June 25 rain date.

Woodbury

Details: Woodbury’s Independence Day Celebration will feature a touch-a-truck, food vendors and ice cream at Monroe-Woodbury Middle School from 5:30PM to 8:30PM. Fireworks will take place at dusk at the Monroe-Woodbury Athletic Field.

Bethel

Details: The fireworks display at dusk will take place overlooking White Lake. Free parking will be available municipal lot at 3586 Route 55, Kauneonga Lake, NY 12749

Cornwall

Details: Cornwall’s 4th of July celebration includes a full day of activities and family fun. A parade will take place at 5 p.m. and fireworks are scheduled for 9:30 p.m.

Ellenville

Time: Parade at noon, fireworks at dusk
Address: Joseph Y. Resnick Airport, Ellenville, NY 12458
Admission Price: Free
Details: The Ellenville 4th of July Parade starts at noon. Fireworks at dusk behind the Old V.A.W. building near Joseph Y. Resnick Airport. There will be street vendors all along parade route.

Village of Fishkill*

Details: The Village of Fishkill is doing a reading of the Declaration of Independence.

Highland Falls

Details:
The Highland Falls Independence Day celebration will include a 5K race at 8AM, a parade at 3PM, tug of war at 7PM and fireworks at 9PM. In addition, festivities are scheduled July 1-3 in the lead up to the 4th of July festivities.

Hyde Park*

Details: The theme of this year’s Hyde Park Parade is “NYS Police– Celebrating 100 years of Service.” The parade starts at the Hyde Park Cinemas’ parking lot.

Kingston

Details: Kingston’s Independence Day event will include food, music and activities at the Rondout during the day. Fireworks will take place at dusk.

Town of Liberty

Time: Dusk
Address: Liberty Soldiers Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Liberty, NY
Details: Fireworks will be shot off from Liberty Soldiers Cemetery and will be visible throughout town. A rain date has been set for July 8.

Village of Liberty*

Time: 10:30AM-4:30PM

Details: A 4th of July parade starts on North Main Street.

Lumberland*

Time: Noon
Address: 1025 Proctor Rd, Glen Spey, NY 12737
Details: A parade starts at Lumberland Firehouse and ends at Circle Park, with a family fun day at the park following the parade.

City of Poughkeepsie

Time: 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Address: Waryas Park, 1 Main Street, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601
Admission Price: $12.50 at Walkway Over the Hudson; Free at Waryas Park
Details: A view of the City of Poughkeepsie’s annual fireworks display is available from Walkway Over the Hudson State Park and Waryas Park. Tickets are $10 for Walkway Members and $12.50 for general admission. Children 10 and under are free although registration and tickets are required.

Roseland*

Details:
Come listen to a free reading of the Declaration of Independence at the Rosendale Theatre.

Saugerties

Details: Saugerties will hold a parade at 11 a.m. Fireworks will be held at dusk.

Wallkill

Details: The Town of Beekman will have fireworks at its community day on July 22. The event will include a live band, vendors and activities. Fireworks take place at dusk.

Chester

Details: The West Point Band will perform at the Trophy Point Amphitheater for this popular Independence Day Celebration. Guests are advised to arrive early for this free event that is open to the public.
